Primary Responsibilities for the Marketing & Audience Growth Associate

  • This position is responsible for building the experiences and tactics to create deeper connections with our users across The Christian Post, driving our users across our multiple products. 
  • The candidate will work across sales & marketing, analytics, newsletters, social media, multimedia and editorial to understand what features and content are delighting audiences, then deploy tactics to move users down the funnel from one-time visitors to loyal and engaged brand fans. Help drive and establish audience engagement Key Performance Indicators. 
  • Create, implement, and iterate engagement strategies via product features, advertising, calls to action, and content. Devise and carry out a/b tests to validate and iterate marketing campaigns on our websites, apps, social media, email blasts, podcasts, videos and events for the company and our clients.
  • Build audience segments, target audiences, and implement loyalty models that reward our most active users. Understand customer monetization strategies, retention practices and principles. 
  • Work with data engineering to use and analyze logged in user data to grow the number of logins and maximize value to both the consumer and the company. Integrate audience feedback into strategy, product development, and communication.
  • Able to work with large data sets and analytics platforms. Prior experience with CRMs, ESPs, marketing automation tools and platforms.


•  Bachelor’s or equivalent degree

•  At least two years proven experience working with digital marketing (preferably in a digital magazine or newspaper)

•  Agree with The Christian Post’s statement of faith
