Special Projects Coordinator
This is a demanding and diverse role that includes a mix of administrative tasks, project coordination, and marketing/creative work. The Special Projects Coordinator has responsibility for a broad range of projects and tasks that are determined by the CEO and support The Christian Post and its group of brands. These include:
Provide support to key business development initiatives as determined by leadership, ranging from prospect research, to pitch deck creation, to meeting scheduling, to evaluating and optimizing performance and returns.
Provide support to special projects as determined by leadership, ranging from data analysis, to go-to-market strategies, to handling user feedback, to event scheduling, etc.;
When project management is required, create project plans, monitor and track progress, communicate with stakeholders involved, make sure resources are available and allocated, and ensure all projects are delivered on-time within scope and budget;
When marketing is required, draft, edit, proof, and secure approval of graphics and text for brand communications by creating compelling, relevant, and accurate communication content and ensuring clarity, conciseness, and effectiveness of each item;
When analytics is required, track and prepare analytics reports for websites, apps, social media channels, email campaigns, and business development efforts; in addition provide recommendations on performance improvement;
When sales is required, support specific client development initiatives including assisting in the preparation and coordination of pitches, proposals, client/prospect research. This includes assembly of standard pitch materials/folders and gathering company, industry, and competitive data intelligence; Create and manage the library of general pitch decks and marketing materials;
When event planning is required, manage a marketing event calendar, coordinating events and meetings by identifying, assembling, and organizing requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules; managing mailing lists and communications; Providing logistical event support including pre-event logistics, on-site event assistance, assisting with post-event follow-up and tracking lead generation;
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
- Experience with Google Analytics and SEO
- Experience using various computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Project Management software, CRM systems, and various social media platforms strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of emerging media, marketing and technology trends
- Good communication, organization, problem solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail
