Web Producer, GNL


The GNL Network is a new, multi-channel network of Christian video creators, and is connected with The Christian Post, Edifi, and Crossmap group of brands. 


The GNL Web Producer will update the GNL website with curated videos, delivering to audiences entertaining and edifying videos. He/she will work with video creators to bring their videos to GNL. Our ideal candidate is creative and data-driven in growing audiences and engagement.  

 

We envision GNL to be the largest Christian video on demand platform by number of video creators and users.


Responsibilities


-Update GNL and major sections with new video content that is relevant, entertaining, and edifying to Christians and their families

-Update GNL Kids sections with quality videos for children that teach Christian values

-Maintain a schedule of shows to be featured and promoted on GNL, on social media and in newsletters

-Write and send out regular email newsletters to users to inform them of new or featured content

-Market GNL to more audiences using SEO, social media, and other forms of marketing

-Remove content that is inappropriate for GNL and evaluate if those video creators should be on GNL

-Secure exclusives and first-on GNL videos

-Identify videos and content creators that we need bring onto GNL so that GNL becomes a significant video platform

-Review video submissions through our online form, respond to inquiries and questions from video creators and GNL users

-Connect with Christian video creators and work with them to bring their videos to GNL

-Present GNL at conferences, festivals, and events where there are video creators present

-Meet with and report regularly to management


Qualifications


- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

- Fluent in English

- Passionate and knowledgable about Christian films and shows

- Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities and schedules

- Proficiency in working with content management systems (CMS) to update website

- Proficient in social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter

- Knowledge of emerging media trends

- Excellent editorial, verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to plan and host events

- Enjoy networking and connecting

- Ability to work under deadlines without compromising editorial standards

- Agree with CP’s statement of faith

- Based in Washington, DC
